Boys suit wool fabrics vary greatly. Any fine tailor will tell you that wool is the best fabric to use although there are many qualities. The gradations of wool vary mainly based on the thinness of the yarn although the length of the fibers also comes into play. The higher the number the finer the yarn and the more comfortable the suit will be under any conditions. We believe that a true super 100, 110 or 120 is the best fabric that can be used for boys suits. The important thing to understand is that the thinness of the yarn has nothing to do with weight, we actually use some super 110 fabrics for flannel pants as well as tropical pants in season.

We have recently found a website claiming to sell suits that are super 120 but are 90% polyester. While we are not sure if this is legal it sounds very unusual. ALWAYS REMEMBER  to make sure that the words super 100, super 110 or super 120 are followed by the word wool.
